Pear Cough Syrup

Pear Cough Syrup

C$10.00Price
From a Chinese Medicine perspective the last pears left on the tree in the autumn are traditionally used to make the best pear cough syrup. The first frosts and cold nights of fall help the sugars condense and metal energy of the season to gather in the fruit. The whole fruit and organic herbs are then simmered and condensed to create a moistening cough paste.
Pear, the peel in particular, is moistening to dry lungs and may help a dry or persistent cough or hoarse voice.
Take by the spoonful or stir into warm water.
